At West Albury Preschool we provide a stimulating and flexible program, that presents activities that are geared towards the child’s physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

Our Music and Movement Program encourages children to share with others, take turns, be creative, exchange ideas, learn from each other, and while remaining individuals, be able to work as part of a group.

In our Music and Movement Program we aim to enhance the children’s learning and development through music in a positive, fun, relaxed and stimulating environment. Our Program will touch on the basic music concepts such as rhythm and beat but our main focus will be on the children’s enjoyment in music.

Throughout the program the children will be introduced to a diversity of music and be given the opportunity to experience a wide range of music and movement activities including; listening, singing, moving and dancing, playing and exploring a wide range of instruments, taking part in games, creating and performing.

We believe that the practices and philosophies we implement in our Music and Movement Program will encourage children to develop their creativity, imagination and confidence.
